My brother-in-law, Walter, is about ten years older than me. This made him the perfect age to act as a role model. He came around when I was about ten years old. At that time, he would kick my butt in everything from basketball to ping pong. Fortunately, as the years went on and I entered my prime, I began to take over. This was great for sports, but what about life? He began to give me advice and inspiration. These were things I appreciated very much. The only negative was that I felt as though I was always the topic of conversation, which made me feel a little bit uncomfortable. As hard as I tried to steer the conversation away from me, it just wouldn’t work.

Eventually, I came up with an idea. In 2006, I was moving to another state, so I said it would be a good idea for us to use hughes net internet to communicate online. He agreed. Since I moved and got internet service in loveland co, we have been writing to each other via satellite internet. What I have found so amazing is that he is now that one coming to me for advice via hughsnet. Things are not going as well for him as they once did, which has made him a little bit weaker. Maybe his strength was a façade all along. If it was, I don’t want to know about it. That would just be confirmation that no human is perfect. I guess heroes are ordinary, just like the song says.
