I really wish that any day that schools were closed because of inclement weather, that my work would be closed too so I could stay home with the kids. It’s always so sad to come home and the kids tell me all about the fun that they’ve had at home and out in the snow. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for the kids that they get to do that. I’m just sad that I have to sit behind a desk instead of play in the snow when that happens.

On those snow days, I also talk a lot with my husband, who works from home, through our clear wireless internet about if he’s having fun with the kids and stuff. Also, I like to remind him to save me some snow cream if they fix some that day.

I’ve always loved making DIY snow cream and eating it. I would always insist on making my own snow cream when I was a kid and I think that my kids love it as much as I do too.
