Home Theater Seating

April 9th, 2010

I have been thinking about getting home theater seating for our tv room. This kind of seating definitely gives the comfort that my hubby is looking for in a chair while he watches news and sports on television. The one he uses now is very comfortable, and in fact he built it himself. Although it is functional it is not very attractive and I had been trying to talk him into get rid of it. He doesn’t care what it looks like, he just wants his comfort.

Wedding Invitations

April 9th, 2010

I wish I still had some of the wedding invitations that I had made for our wedding ceremony back in the Philippines almost five years ago. I still have some of the wedding accessories, though, and they remind me of how happy and relieved I was when my fiance finally showed up on our wedding day. I thought he might not make it because of some business and health issues that he experiencing before flying there. I was afraid that it would be another de javu all over again because I had been jilted once before by a guy that I met online. Fortunately my future husband was true to his word and was able to make it on our big day, despite serious trials and tribulations to get there.

Ah…Finally Paradise

April 8th, 2010

Finally it was beginning to feel like a real honeymoon for both of us. The warm summer breezes off the ocean and the cool moon lit nights walking on the white sugar sand beach were like living a dream for me. Each morning we would sleep in late and then get up to go for the most wonderful breakfast buffet that I had ever tasted.
The resort had two restaurants. One was primarily an open air seafood restaurant located on a narrow peninsula reaching out into the ocean. The other was a beautiful glass enclosed pavilion next to a palm surrounded, pond shaped swimming pool that was crossed by a narrow wooden bridge. The wonderful breakfast buffet was served in the air-conditioned pavilion.

The food was a combination of the most delectable native Filipino dishes and traditional American food like bacon and eggs backed up by a full compliment of the freshest of sweet tropical fruit. My hubby and I both agree that it was the best restaurant that either one of us have ever dined in.

Barcode Scanners

March 31st, 2010

I usually see barcode scanners at the retail stores. I didn’t know that there were so many different kinds of barcode scanners until I saw them online. The scanner that seems to be the most handy is the compact gun style laser scanner like the Symbol LS2208. It is one of the best selling scanners on the market. It combines many usable features and a durable scan engine to create a truly reliable, yet affordable handheld laser barcode scanner for retail, healthcare, education and other industrial applications.

Finally Relief

March 31st, 2010

I really liked the ocean side bungalow that they finally gave us. The facility was not as fancy as the first one but it was much more cozy, half as expensive, and right on the beach as we had been promised. One problem down and one to go.
I enjoyed the time alone with my new husband despite the fact he was not in good condition. He was still bleeding intermittently, swollen & sore and his fever was increasing. I was nervous and told him that he needed medical attention. We found out that the resort had its own resident doctor and that she could be there within minutes. We sat outside on the veranda to meet her and she soon arrived.
At first she wanted to examine the wound but my husband was too shy and asked if she could just prescribe something without seeing it. She was very accommodating and, in fact, had already brought along the medicine that she was sure would help him. The medicine that she gave him started working almost immediately and within a day or two he was nearly back to normal. At last, we could finally sit back, relax and begin to enjoy our tropical honeymoon.
