Every winter, I enjoy spending most of my nights watching my favorite sport, which is hockey. The National Hockey League is full of great players and great teams, which can make every game a very competitive one. Some of the best teams this year that will compete for the Stanley Cup Championship are the Detroit Red Wings, St Louis Blues, and the Montreal Canadians
My favorite team of all is the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blackhawks are one of the best teams in the NHL and are actually the defending Stanley Cup Champions. The team is full of great players including Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toewes, who are both among the best young players in the league. While the team has not started all that well earlier this year, they will undoubtedly compete all season long for another playoff berth.
While I enjoy going to the United Center to watch the Blackhawks play, going to every game is not a realistic option for me. When I cannot go to the Blackhawks game, I like to stay at home and watch the games on my satellite TV that I got after coming across this Satellite TV comparison.

Thanks for the post from Darrick Franklin
Growing up in Chicago during the 50″s and 60″s, there were many sports teams that had a big following, but for me there was only one and still is, the Chicago Blackhawks. I still have so many fond memories of Bobby Hull and Stan Mikta flying down the ice, a wicked slap shot and yes, a goal. Those times will stay with me forever, but now I live in Florida and can no longer get to the stadium to watch my favorite team. Thank goodness for my satellite tv that I got after coming across this Cable TV comparison. While I may not be able to be in Chicago watching the game in person, just seeing the game on my tv gets that adrenaline flowing. After winning the Stanley Cup, the Hawks are off to a slow start, but Center Jonathan Toews is not worried. Being the captain of the team, he keeps them motivated, along with veteran defensemen Brian Campbell. Now that players are back from injury and Marty Turco is holding his own in the nets, the team should really begin to jell. Head coach Joel Quenneville will have this team up to par, hopefully, in no time. While these young players may not be the Blackhawks of old, they still are a thrill to watch.

My world champion Chicago Blackhawks are set to repeat, and I’m loving it all as I catch every game on high def on my satellite TV that I got after seeing this direct tv satellite hd comparison . While the Bears are awful, the Bulls aren’t good enough, and the Cubs are the Cubs, the Blackhawks are making Chicago a hockey town. Well, a hockey and corrupt political town, but once the election season is over no one will care about anything except for hockey and hockey related news.
Last year, the dark birds, as I like to call them, led wire to expletive wire last year, allowing the fewest shots on goal in the whole National Hockey League. That’s an important statistic to anyone who values winning and defense, which you should if you care about your own happiness. Unless you’re one of those people who likes losing, which in that case you would not be on the Blackhawk bandwagon, because we win so much. Of course, this year, things ain’t so cheery on the defensive end, at least so far. Right now the boys are 22nd in the very same category, all because of the new personnel. Like any transitional period, this awful defense is merely a transient thing, a fleeting introductory chapter in what will be another championship season. Just you see, the Blackhawks will be kicking ass and taking politically incorrect names all year.
